Actually a few places in KC started putting the sauce on top of the cheese and tried to call it Kansas City style pizza. They wanted it to become a recognized style for the city, but I don’t think it ever stuck lol. But that is exactly what they were trying to call Kansas City style pizza.

Too bad they really don't have the capacity and their hours are restrictive. Plus it's super expensive. And beware, if you pay cash, they tell you that they don't give change. Which is totally fucked up. You give them money and they won't give you change. This is like stealing from people. And they get away with it. Bring small bills and coins if you want to order from this place.
