In this week’s episode we’re in Provo, Utah at legendary local eatery Sensuous Sandwich…which has offered this challenge since at least 1982…making it probably the longest standing one I’ve ever attempted…
Now this one is what we call a ‘pay-to-play’ in that you don’t get the meal free if you win BUT you do get your hands on a coveted winner’s shirt, not to mention your picture up on the wall amidst the pantheon of victors! All you have to do is finish one of their 24″ subs with at least one meat and one cheese inside thirty minutes…
Now naturally, since you can also choose to order one of their fully loaded signature sandwiches, there’s a big difference in terms of just how difficult it can be…but I chose there eponymous sandwich…The Sensuous…with ham, turkey, roast beef, jack cheese, lettuce, onions, radish, pickles, peppers, horseradish, mustard, oil and vinegar…and it was every bit as good as I’d hoped!

A lot of food in Utah,
I spent many years in Provo as a Brigham Young University student. Greatest place on earth
came here after you did this challenge, and i was able to finish but it was a struggle lmao u made it look so easy
In 1979 I worked construction. I had not ate in two days I was weak and so hungry I ate six whopper with cheese in 15 minutes.
“The feds are here” made me laugh more than it should have. The delivery was hilarious 😂

Definitely adding this sandwich to the bucket list, definitely won't finish it one sitting maybe throughout the day. But it looked delicious!

I love these videos it's insane how much this man can eat in one sitting. But the best part is him going all over the world and talking to the people. I'm from 🇨🇦 and they don't mess around with their food in the USA, it's awesome in every State and the people are awesome too

This is the first time I've seen one of these challenges and feel confident I could pull it off. When you have a wall of fame with over a 1000 people who have completed it, it's probably not as hard as it looks.
