What is New Haven style, and how does it compare to other North East styles? 🍕😋

Could be New York or New Haven. The biggest difference is usually the amount of cheese & sauce. NH uses less sauce, more cheese & is usually cut into tiny slices.
Regardless, that’s a nice looking pizza.

Thinner, crisper, light on the cheese and sauce, plus clam pies, nicely charred from coal fired ovens often dating back to the early 20th century. Go to New Haven and have some “Apizza”, it’s worth a road trip to Sally’s, Modern, Pepe’s etc.
