Avanti Ristorante Italiano was opened by co-owners Kathleen McNulty and Vincenzo Severino in 1993. Mr. Severino serves not only as co-owner but also as the Chef at Avanti Ristorante Italiano.
Chef Vincenzo has been in the kitchen since age 13. His life’s journey has allowed him to learn the restaurant business from every angle. Vincenzo had his start working in a local Mercer County Italian deli and then eventually worked his way to the kitchen of The Resorts International Casino in Atlantic City. This experience has allowed Chef Vincenzo, along with Ms. McNulty, the skills and ability needed to sustain a thriving restaurant for so long.
Avanti Ristorante Italiano serves predominantly Southern Italian cuisine but has a wide variety guaranteed to delight the most particular diner. A selection of specialties includes the homemade Bracciole, Italian Roasted Chicken, Rack of Lamb, Salmon Champagne and their amazing Bolognese sauce. Chef Severino is also proud to offer tasty Gluten Free selections. The menu offerings are both extensive and diverse and there is certainly something every member of the family would absolutely love! Avanti Ristorante Italiano is a B.Y.O establishment so feel free to bring your favorite wine, beer or champagne with you to accompany your entrees.
Chef Severino and his staff are ready and able to cater all of your special occasion events. The intimate restaurant has two impeccably decorated dining rooms and seats 75 people. In addition, diners can enjoy outdoor dining during the warmer months if they choose. The restaurant is located at 23 West Delaware Avenue, in the heart of Pennington NJ.
