Omi Wagyu Chateaubriand 🥩 Teppanyaki Ousaka

Omi Wagyu Chateaubriand grilled right in front of us in Osaka.
This was part of our experience at Teppanyaki Ousaka.

The chef first portions a whole Omi Beef Tenderloin, then grills the Chateaubriand directly on the teppan. Watching the process from start to finish gives a better understanding of how each cut is handled before it reaches the plate.

Chateaubriand, the center cut of the Tenderloin, is known for its fine texture and balance. Cooked carefully on the teppan, it develops a light crust while maintaining a soft interior.

The restaurant pairs this with a full course built around Wagyu, all served with a clear view of Osaka’s skyline.
