Miyazaki Wagyu Chateaubriand grilled in Osaka.
This was part of our visit to Yakiniku Kitan Minamisemba.

Kitan Group’s first restaurant in Minamisemba recently underwent a full renewal. After opening several other concepts, owner Hiro San returned to the original location to refresh the space, the menu, and the overall flavor direction.

The restaurant officially reopened on September 8, 2025 with an updated interior and new dishes designed around their experience with dry aged Wagyu. During our visit we explored the à la carte menu, including this Miyazaki Wagyu Chateaubriand alongside several carefully prepared side dishes.

Kitan’s approach focuses on ingredient control, aging technique, and precise grilling rather than unnecessary complexity. We are looking forward to returning to explore more cuts on the menu.
