To celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, we’re exploring Trentino through its traditional products and Alpine culture. Trentino is one of the country’s richest cultural regions, home to centuries-old mountain traditions. In this series, we’ll discover traditional cheeses, from the giant wheels of Trentingrana to the famously pungent but delicious Puzzone di Moena. We’ll explore traditional speck, visit Trentino’s oldest Alpine hut, and dive into the region’s deep-rooted food heritage. We’ll also spend time in Trento, exploring the city’s food scene and Christmas market, stop for hot chocolate in the mountains, and pass through the beautiful Madonna di Campiglio.

A huge thank you to Davide from Dolomita for his incredible support throughout this trip. His local knowledge, outreach, and research made this series possible, and I’m truly grateful for his guidance and assistance on the ground.
