Dallas Braden is a Bay Area native, former A’s player, current A’s broadcaster and national baseball pundit. He has thoughts on what’s happening in Oakland and visits Starkville for the first time to weigh in. He talks about his love for the franchise that gave him a chance and his love for the fanbase that cheered him on and how he is coping with all of that in the current situation. Dallas, Jayson and Doug also discuss the A’s current hot streak and what’s been behind the turnaround.
Trivia: Since moving to Oakland, the Athletics have the most AL Rookies of the Year with seven. Can you name five of them?

A's fans have a lot of respect for you as a player, Dallas, but boy, you could have given us some of that respect back. Yeah, you need to acknowledge what the organization has done for you personally, but you really downplayed the devastating effect this is having on the fans, and the awful way in which it was handled. And no, we are not the same as Giants' fans. Very disappointing response from someone I expected better from. It seems that the main thing you are looking out for is your job.
Funny how Dallas Braden has become an A’s owner apologist. They cut his balls off. A true politician and bullshitter!
Good info on the A's!
I agree with Dallas on his comments on Commissioner Manfred's response to the Reverse Boycott. It was very disheartening that out of all of the passion, love and support from the Oakland A's fan base on the verge of losing our team that they would try to write it off as just another almost average attended game. If anything the owners should have been watching this game during their dinner staring at Fisher eating his jalapeno poppers.
