Hope you avoided the pasta "making" nonnas. Unfortunately, fake, and overpriced. Murattiana for Pizza. But I think it only opens in the evening. It is near the university, not far from the train station. Hope you are going to Lecce. I thought the food there was the best in Puglia. We went on a bike food tour in Bari…..went to some amazing places! I think also we have to realise that the Italian food is made differently to how we are used to eating it.
