This is why you should try a #cookingclass in #bologna Italy. Today we’ll be making #bolognese ragu with #tagliatelle from scratch with chef Daniele. What’s special about this class is everything is homemade even the pasta. We got the ingredients from a local grocery store and butcher shop. I even learned new techniques to make pasta by hand. It took a few tries but I finally I figured out the rolling technique. There’s nothing more satisfying than eating homemade pasta in Italy.

  1. the pasta and sauce you make yourself from scratch tastes 100x better, that’s just how it is. I’m italian and when we do have the time to do it, my dad goes to the farmers market, buys fresh eggs and with the meat from the butcher (locally sourced, like we know the guy who actually raises pigs and everything), we make pasta and ragù at home with the pasta machine (manually operated, of course). This is the most authentic italian food experience you can have. Also, tomato sauce from your own garden is 🔥.
