🔟 For the 10 year anniversary of The Caribbean Housewife in October 2026, Heya Wines is producing a special cuvée: Farha Sparkling, made from organic and wild-growing Merwah grapes and Red Delicious apples.
🇱🇧 In the midst of everything Lebanon has been facing, Claudine Lteif and Michelle Chami continue producing wine. They keep moving forward and creating. Joy is resistance.
✊🏽 Heya means “She” in Arabic. It is a statement for the perseverance of women in a male-dominated industry. When Claudine and Michelle saw that the vineyard workers were primarily women and that they were paid less than their male counterparts, they took matters into their own hands and decided to hire and pay women fairly.
🫶🏽 Our cuvée is part of this story and will have its own special label. When you reserve a bottle, you are supporting Heya Wines and the women that help them in the vineyard and make the harvest possible.
