  1. Bet it's the smog that gives it that unique taste. I'm sure whoever ate that flying pizza got a little more than smog.

  2. You can find good pizza, but I promise you, it depends on where and who made it. You can get great pizza today, and drek at another place tomorrow. New York has some good ones, doesn't have a lock on it.

  3. its all about the water. it has low levels of calcium and magnesium which keeps the dough from getting too tough. anywhere that gets their water from the same source has good pizza

  4. Everything plays a role in pizza.

The water, the flour, the salt, the sugar, the yeast, they are nothing but ingredients on their own, they all work together to make it greater than the sum of its parts. Variables will also affect the results.

  5. It depends where you come from. Chicagoans like either deep dish, or at least deeper crust than New York. We don’t understand the folding of pizza.

  6. Over rated. Its usually the New Yorkers that say its the best. Most of them haven't traveled the nation.
