    I think this would mean more because his contemporaries gave him a nod for his work. The Oscar is the pinnacle, but SAG is the work.

    Looking back the collective enthusiasm in the room for MBJ right at the tail end of final Oscar ballot voting really carried him to the Oscar win. I bet he won by a few votes over Timmy. But boy was this DESERVED. MBJ is the soul of Sinners…

    Can we talk about that hug with ethan hawke before accepting the award… been a fan of this kid since hardball to the wire. He is in his bag right now with movies. I highly recommend the Creed Franchise as he’s incredible and eventually directs the 3rd and has j cole executive produce the soundtrack which is 🔥🔥🔥. He gives the people why they want and enjoy entertainment

    It's funny — I come back to this video more than the Oscar. This was the industry's immediate response after the BAFTA incident. You can tell that the applause and ovation are charged. Very touching.
