Alfredo Chicken Bread

Ingredients

For Dough:

* 1½ cup warm water
* 2½ tbsp yeast
* 2 tsp sugar
* 1 tsp maida
* 3 cups maida (all-purpose flour)
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tbsp milk powder
* 1 tbsp melted butter

For Filling:

* 1 tbsp oil
* 1 tbsp butter
* 1 capsicum (chopped)
* ½ cup yellow & red bell peppers (chopped)
* ½ cup corn
* 1 carrot (chopped)
* 2–3 tbsp maida
* ½ cup chicken stock
* 1 cup milk
* 1 tsp black pepper powder
* 2 tsp white pepper powder
* 2 tsp oregano
* 2 tsp chilli flakes
* Salt to taste
* 1 cup boiled shredded chicken
* 1 handful coriander leaves

Instructions

1. Prepare Yeast Mix:
In a bowl add warm water, yeast, sugar and 1 tsp maida. Mix well and rest for 5 minutes until foamy.

2. Prepare Dough:
In another bowl add maida, salt and milk powder. Pour the yeast mixture and knead into a soft dough. Add melted butter and knead well. Cover and rest for 2 hours until the dough doubles.

3. Prepare Alfredo Filling:
Heat oil and butter in a kadhai. Add capsicum, bell peppers, corn and carrot. Mix and cover for 5 minutes until slightly soft.
Add maida and cook for a minute. Pour chicken stock and milk, mix well.
Add black pepper, white pepper, oregano, chilli flakes and salt.
Add boiled chicken and coriander leaves. Mix well and cook until slightly thick.

4. Shape the Bread:
Punch the dough to remove air and roll into a rectangle.
Place the filling in the center. Cut slits on the sides and fold them over the filling to seal.

5. Bake:
Preheat oven at 220°C for 10 minutes
Bake the bread for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.

Serve hot and cheesy. 🧀🔥
