Please be careful with the mandolin! Use the hand guard, a cut resistant glove or even a fork, please! Ask me how I know!🤣 Turnip salad looks amazing! 😋
Your meals look delicious. Very creative and nutritious. I just love watching your videos. Very calming and inspiring to me. Makes me think of the little grocery stores I have around me and what’s available to use. I want to plant some tomatoes and other things in containers this year, and utilize my farmers markets more often. The way you shop and cook, reminds me of being in Europe.
Maybe it was a couple of videos back now but I wanted to agree on the dry body brushing. I recently got one as well and wow, it really makes a difference to the softness and smoothness of my body skin. There is so much stuff we are told we “must” do which don’t show results but this is something inexpensive, low effort and gives great results (as do SPF, retinol and a good diet and sleep). I think I am a lot older than you though so results may vary. 😅
Sorry if this is an inappropriate question, but why are you eating the amount of calories you are? I think you mentioned you had a doctor or nutritionist or something, is this the number they chose for you? You also make this amount of calories look very tasty and filling you have such a talent for cooking! (Which is so beneficial in a deficit so I really need to learn from you haha)
Everything looked great, as usual! Thanks for these tips- adding the rosemary to the chopped garlic on the board and then adding into the pan together, and blending jarred tomato sauce to improve the texture. Good to know! I’ll be making the chickpea soup tonight, looks perfect for these cold February evenings 😊
I want a latte every time I see yours and the food looks so good I wish we had a trader joes or Whole Foods close to where I live, all we have is Walmart 😢
You have such a beautiful way of cooking. Such fresh ingredients and your chopping of vegetables!! The blending of herbs too. I love it and have learned to cook more, with feeling! Thank you!!
1400 calories is a maintenance level. If you want to burn fat you need to lower that to 1200. And making your entire channel about food, which it is, is counter-productive. You’re over-invested in food in general. Even your coffee is decadent and rich. You overspend on food, over focus on it, and it seems it’s a massive part of your life. That’s always going to be an issue. You’re going to have to change everything about your relationship with food if you want to be successful. Learn to spend time doing other things-anything that isn’t food.
I used to struggle with my weight coming from a family of bigger people and for some years I took medication that slowed my metabolism so it was an uphill battle to lose weight especially with the misinformation and fad diets etc. What eventually helped me and still helps to this day when I want to lose 5 or 10lbs, is measuring my food. Using measuring cups, tablespoons. Always measure oil or butter. When I eat rice or pasta, I measure it. Only when dieting, it's admittedly too tedious to do it otherwise. But it does work. We tend to underestimate how many calories we eat, it's normal. It was shocking at first how off the mark I was without using exact measurements. I don't mean any offense. Just think it could help.

Ooh, love the grater tip!
I really appreciate that you block the sound on the blender sections. I don't know how many times I have had my ears blown out by that.

I have never seen a little dish like that for grating garlic! Very cute 💖

I hope you didn’t eat the skin of the chicken. Did you allow that in your calorie & fat content? One piece of bread Would have sufficed.
