  1. I feel as if this is a tourist trap. Super expensive for subpar food. Then again, I’m just going by this video.

  2. Most controversial to NY transplants 😂 Actual NYers don’t give a shit about the latest fad restaurant

  3. Who is this wealthy teenager? Does she know anything? Should we listen to her is just watch her eat?

  4. i wish there was really nice restaurants like this in brooklyn im stuck ordering nasty pizza when i dont want to cook

  5. That fillet looked so over cooked. And somehow that's still not the worst part of this restaurant

  6. Not crazy about the jelly, I’d rather have a piece of chilled fresh melon. The prosciutto, filet, and lemon cheesecake looks incredible and fresh, aside from the jello, but I’ll take your word for it that it’s good

  7. Actually THANK YOU for this because this was the ONLY reservation I could snag out of my whole wish list 🥲 for our trip next week

  8. The Caesar salad at Bad Roman was out favorite thing we had our whole NYC trip- closely followed by 7th street smash burger, and pop up bagels

  9. Some Orthodox churches are stricter about head coverings. And if you go to a monastery you have to wear one to be on the grounds. But like the most “punishment” that will happen to you is that in the case of liturgy they would hand you one to wear, and in the case of the monastery they would either ask you to come back with one or give you one. (Men also have a dress code in these places too. No shoulders showing, no feet uncovered, no shorts)

Ultimately the difference is the purpose of the covering. In the Orthodox Church, we wear them to honor our head, just as we cover the Eucharist with a cloth or the altar with a cloth, we aren’t shielding it because the things is unseemly, or ugly. But because it is so beautiful we cover it in a sign of honor.

  10. do people actually watch her videos or take eating dining advice for someone who probably knows less than most people about food? I have very specific tastes and I wouldn't even trust Gordon Ramsay's take on food 100% especially when he puts raw eggs on food and charge 20$ the yellow can be raw-ish but having a layer of transparent yolk is just disgusting and I ate and fried eggs since I was a kid. Even raised or fed chickens at my grandparents, those eggs are raw.

  11. Yeah, I hate it. This is gimmicky for the sake of being gimmicky, to the point where it ruins the dishes.
