Leaders of the worldās largest economies attended a gala dinner hosted by Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the ornate Quirinale Palace in Rome on Saturday, marking the end of the G20 summit.
Mattarella and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi welcomed German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and other leaders.
The menu included salmon, sea bass, risotto with pumpkin, and a tangerine cream dessert, according to local media.
Two essential heads of state were missing at this year’s intergovernmental forum in the Italian capital. Both Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin joined the summit through video links.
