In this video, we break down 12 of the world’s most famous pasta dishes: their origins, their ingredients, and the controversies that still divide Italy today. If you think I’ll eat just any of these, let me tell you something. You’re right.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 che cazzate ! ! ! !
This video makes me want to take a trip to Italy to go to each of these regions and eat the authentic versions of these pasta dishes, prepared by skilled chefs who know how to cook the ingredients to perfecting standards.
The pictures don't match the narration.
I challenge the assumption of carbonara being the most well known. Perhaps if the whole world is the USA but no, I think you're mistaken if you are referring to the 'actual' real world.
Enjoyed that, thanks.
When explaining a country's cuisine, please get one that knows how to pronounce the dishes.
パスタっていいですね。
Geezus. If you’re going to make a video about Italian food, you could at least learn how to pronounce the words correctly.
Blanching the basil briefly in hot water preserves the color so you can use the blender to pulse.
Assassina, zozzona, gricia, pizzoccheri, orecchiette alle cime di rapa… So many to mention and you have to put in mac and cheese instead? 🤮
Not accurate. Bolognese doesn't exist.
I really love Carbonara 😂❤
Лучше с гуляшом или тушёным мясом, а рыбу и креветки зачем смешивать?
This video is wrong when it states that the addition of cream to carbonara was a misunderstanding. Evidence from old cookboks shows several early carbonara recipes that actually included cream, even Italian ones. The idea that it absolutely shouldn't include cream was a much later invention.
You forgot Pasta zorzzona!!
That is not a photo of guanciale
I have always heard tell Italians never put Garlic and Onion in the same dish, but I have no true way of identifying whether or not this is true.
We just refer to "midnight pasta" as "butter noodles" in the American South. There are some slight changes, but the concept is very similar. It's basically what you eat as a midnight snack or when you literally can't afford to eat anything else. I spent a lot of time in that state in my 20s, so I'm quite familiar with this simple, yet tasty concoction.
Any ketchup pasta with pineapple pls?
“True carbonara uses…guanciale, egg yolks….” This said immediately after saying carbonara was invented using powdered eggs snd dehydrated bacon.
