Community celebration at Cosa Duci Italian Bakery & Deli will support local animal rescue nonprofit Animal Aid, Inc.
Boca Raton, FL – October 30, 2026 — Halloween is going to the pets — and their owners — as Cosa Duci Italian Bakery & Deli hosts Paws for a Cause, a festive pet costume party benefiting local nonprofit Animal Aid, Inc., on Saturday, October 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organized by Silvia Fausto, owner of Cosa Duci Italian Bakery & Deli, the event will bring together animal lovers, families and community members for an afternoon of creative costumes, delicious Italian food and activities supporting animals in need.
The highlight of the celebration will be a pet costume contest featuring several categories, including Most Italian Pet, Funniest Costume, Best Overall and Best Pet & Owner Duo.
Winners will be announced at 3 p.m. and will receive gift baskets, gift certificates and pet treats.
Guests can also enjoy a special photo spot to capture memories with their furry companions, treats for pets and a selection of Italian food from Cosa Duci. The event will feature opportunities to learn more about animal rescue, adoption and ways to support local pets in need.
Supporting a Neighboring Animal Rescue Organization
All proceeds from the event will benefit Animal Aid, Inc., a nonprofit organization that has been helping rescue and care for animals since 1996.
The organization works to provide assistance to animals in need while promoting responsible pet ownership, adoption and animal welfare education.
For Fausto, hosting the event is an opportunity to bring the community together while supporting a neighboring organization dedicated to protecting animals.
The celebration combines the spirit of Halloween with a meaningful cause, encouraging residents to enjoy a fun afternoon while contributing to the care and well-being of rescued animals.
Whether attending with a costumed pet, participating in the contest or simply stopping by for Italian food, visitors can take part in a community gathering where every contribution helps make a difference.
