The Bravo Italian Kitchen location at the Galleria of Mt. Lebanon mall appears to have closed.
The national Americanized Italian food chain’s page on the Galleria’s website had been taken down as of Thursday morning, and the franchise’s main website lists only its Cranberry, McKnight Road, North Fayette and Waterfront locations remaining in the Greater Pittsburgh area. No one answered the phone at the location Thursday morning.
The location opened in the early 2000s.
In October 2025, Restaurant Dive reported R&R Brands took over all Bravo! Italian Kitchen and Brio Italian Grille locations following Bravo Brio Restaurants’ filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2025 (the second time in five years). The article indicated the franchise had closed a “number of restaurants” that year and faced particular difficulties at its shopping center locations.
On Thursday, Columbus Business First reported the chain’s Dayton Mall location in Ohio was also closed. Last week, The Des Moines Register reported a Des Moines, Iowa, Bravo location had closed as well.
Messages left with R&R Brands and The Galleria Mall at Mt. Lebanon for further information were not immediately returned.
Bravo, currently a 14-location franchise, began operations in Columbus, Ohio, in 1992. PennLive reported that Bravo! and Brio had 130 combined locations at their peak.
