Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza is getting brand-new kitchen equipment and a new pizza recipe, rather than recycling the old pizza of PizzeRizzo.
Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza
Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will be part of the new Monstropolis land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Though it’s taking over the former PizzeRizzo building and will still offer pizza, it will have a new recipe.
In addition, the quick-service restaurant will serve other food items for less adventurous guests. Harryhausen’s, the table-service restaurant in Monstropolis, will have familiar food for those who desire it, as well as more unconventional fare.
PizzeRizzo originally opened as Pizza Planet in 1995, inspired by Toy Story, but was re-themed in 2016 with a Muppets backstory. This quick-service restaurant was owned and run by Rizzo the Rat, who came from a long line of rat pizza makers.
We learned the restaurant will be renamed Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza a few weeks ago. It’s named after the six-legged Fear Tech mascot.
