    A creamy lemon pasta topped with crispy golden chicken — the perfect combination of rich, fresh, and comforting!

    ✨ INGREDIENTS

    For the Pasta:
    • 12 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

    For the Chicken:
    • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced in half lengthwise
    • 1 egg
    • 1 Tbsp milk
    • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ⅛ tsp black pepper
    • 2 Tbsp olive oil

    For the Lemon Cream Sauce:
    • 4 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (from 1 large lemon), divided
    • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • ¼ tsp onion powder
    • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
    • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

    ✨ INSTRUCTIONS

    1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and lightly rinse.

    2️⃣ Bread the Chicken
    In one bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
    In a second bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.

    Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg mixture, then coat evenly in the breadcrumb mixture.

    3️⃣ Cook the Chicken
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Cook chicken for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).

    Transfer to a cutting board and squeeze 2 Tbsp lemon juice over the chicken. Let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.

    4️⃣ Make the Lemon Cream Sauce
    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and onion powder and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Pour in heavy cream and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.

    Reduce heat to low and slowly whisk in the remaining 2 Tbsp lemon juice.

    Add parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth and melted.

    5️⃣ Assemble
    Pour the lemon cream sauce over the cooked pasta and toss until coated. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

    Top with crispy lemon chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
