The actual answer is that first wine was created during a time when neither Georgian nor Armenian cultures as we know them today quite existed, but because both nations have strong genetic continuity with the ancient people of the region, its safe to assume both Georgians and Armenians can claim to be descendants of the first people who created wine… But because the oldest actual archeological evidence comes from what is today the territory of Georgia, Georgians get a slight edge when it comes to bragging rights lol

As a Georgian, I'll say that Wine was not "invented" by Georgians, but yet was firstly Discovered by Georgians, not invented, the other countries didnt take it from Georgia but they simply started making it later, much later then us Georgians.
