Homemade Pizza recipe👇🏻🍕

Ingredients:

Pizza Dough:
• 1 cup warm water
• 2.5 tsp instant yeast
• 1 tsp sugar
• ⅓ cup milk (warm)
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 3¼ cups all-purpose flour

Pizza Sauce:
• 1 cup passata (tomato sauce)
• 1 tsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp sugar
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp oregano
• ¼ tsp dried basil

Cheese & Toppings:
• Pecorino Romano
• Mozzarella (low moisture)
• Fresh/buffalo mozzarella
• Fresh basil
• Black pepper
• Cornmeal (for tray)

Method:
1. In warm water, add yeast and sugar. Mix and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until activated.
2. In a bowl, add flour, salt, olive oil, warm milk, and the yeast mixture. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
Tip: Press the dough—if it springs back, it’s ready.
3. Cover and let it rest for 10–15 minutes. Then divide into portions, grease lightly, cover, and let rise for 2–3 hours.
4. Prepare the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
5. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with the tray inside.
6. Roll or press dough into pizza shape. Place on hot tray, spread sauce, and add cheese & toppings.
7. Bake for 8–10 minutes until crust is crispy and golden.
8. Remove, garnish with fresh basil or black pepper, slice, and serve hot.
