Italy’s prime minister said Tuesday that a defense agreement with Israel was suspended “taking into consideration the current situation.” “Our place is with Europe and with the West… Then when there are things we do not agree with, we act accordingly,” Georgia Meloni told reporters as she visited a wine fair in the northern Italian city of Verona. According to Associated Press Italy and Israel signed a defense cooperation agreement in 2016.
This pact renews automatically every five years, if neither party denounces it. Scheduled to be renewed in 2026 after being extended for 5 years in 2021, Meloni’s comments suggest the Italian government had suspended the memorandum. The cancellation comes as the Israeli military pushed ahead with air and ground offensives in southern Lebanon, engaging in fierce fighting with Hezbollah militants over a strategic town.

Again, another air head woman whose perception of reality is in shambles. A danger for Italy.
Italy has the same problems as many other EU countries, they have been infiltrated by Muslim activists, foreign illegal immigrants, and Islamic terrorists. This is something that their governments has to take into consideration with every decision they make but unfortunately it's just kicking the can down the road to some other resolution which probably is not going to be good for these countries!

Last time checked… Israel didn't have a defence agreement with Italy. It was a memorandum signed many years ago and had no importance over the years. Stop with the fake news!!
