MADHiFOOD : MADE FOR TV
For years Chef Madhi has been translating his travels and love for food into a mind-blowing array of consumable formats. Producers at WeCook TV decided to greenlight him for a pilot cooking show that will be both streamed and downloadable potentially reaching 52 million viewers in the Roku network.
With almost 50 countries in long forgotten air miles, Chef Madhi needs your help getting the pilot produced while we continue wooing ideal sponsors. The MadhiFood formula is a tried & true method of helping busy people create vegetarian & vegan meals that are tasty, don’t rely on meat substitutes, and delivers a cultural experience to both guests or viewers.
โMy interest in food has evolved from living and traveling around the world for more than 15 years, and is informed by experience in fifty countries. My degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology influence my deep passion for historical and cultural roots of my cuisine. My cooking explores not just the history of each dish but the source of each ingredient, offering an authentic culinary and cultural experienceโ say Chef Madhi.
In 2013, he started his own charity project working with the government of India’s “Mid-Day Meal” Program feeding almost 200,000 children to date #KrsnaKids. Since then, Chef Madhi has made a name for himself in the underground food scene by hosting vegetarian supper clubs from over 30 countries and 20 food regions of Italy. He has spoken spoken on the Sustainability of Food, and the climate crisis as it pertains to food aboard, the UN-Sanctioned Peace Boat.
Within the past year, Chef Madhi has consulted several brands on their New York City launches ranging from a spa focusing on food as part of its health & wellness mission to product planning and development of a vegan meal delivery service to executing a high-end turn key Soho underground food/nightlife space. Some additional accomplishments include:
– Partnered with international DJ Holmar on the launch of the Hellooo parties in Toronto delivering a VIP
– Executed a Persian & Moroccan dining experience for festival VIPs on the top of a mountain in the Catskills for the Caravan Gitane group.
– Assisted in gaining LVMH sponsorship for a MadhiFood luxury event partner who tasked Chef Madhi with creating a custom cocktail that appealed to current trends. The product roll out at Ian Schragerโs Midtown Manhattan luxury hotel was a huge success.,
Relaunched a vegan Thai food brand in the Lower East Side of Manhattan
– Done countless dinners and events for nightclubs in New York including House of Yes, Output, Gospel, TBA Brooklyn to name a few.
– Started his first cookbook
The format for MadhiFood TV will be Chef Madhi focusing on one particular food culture and where that food culture is found in New Yorkโs five boroughs. The pilot episode will be Mexican food and his favorite Mexican market in Brooklyn.
