There’s something different about Tuscany in October.
The air is softer. The hills glow golden. And the vineyards of Montepulciano feel slower, deeper… more intimate.
On October 5th, I rode an e-bike through the Tuscan countryside from Chianciano Terme to a beautiful hilltop winery near Sant’Albino. I rented the e-bike for around €10 per day, and the ride through the rolling vineyards made the entire experience unforgettable.
My destination: Podere della Bruciata — a terrace winery overlooking endless countryside views.
What started as a simple wine tasting turned into a slow, soulful afternoon.

The tasting lasted around 1.5–2 hours, but honestly?
This is the kind of experience that deserves half a day. Going in the afternoon, when the light softens and the landscape turns golden, makes it even more magical.

I chose to go by e-bike from Chianciano Terme — scenic, quiet, and incredibly freeing.
