DON’T skip THIS experience in Italy!!! 😱

Did you know you can take a private cooking class in a local’s home in cities all across Italy?! 🇮🇹🍷
🍝 We did an incredible experience in Milan with and it was one of our favorite things we’ve ever done in Italy!!

Our sweet home chef, Sissi, took us shopping at a neighborhood market 🛒 before inviting us into her beautiful home to cook a full Italian meal from scratch—and it was pure magic ✨

We made an appetizer, saffron risotto, and strawberry tiramisu and the whole night felt like having dinner at a friend’s house (who just happens to be an amazing cook and teacher) 🍓

But what makes this even cooler is the story behind it 👇

🍽️ Cesarine is the oldest and largest network of home cooks in Italy
🏛️ Founded in 2004 in Bologna to preserve traditional Italian cuisine
👩‍🍳 Now includes over 1,500 passionate home chefs in 450+ cities and towns
🍝 Each chef opens their home to share family recipes and real local traditions
🐌 Officially recognized by Slow Food for protecting Italy’s culinary heritage

Why we loved it:
✨ A super authentic cultural experience
🍷 Felt intimate, local, and personal
📍Perfect for travelers who want more than just sightseeing
🧡 One of the most memorable nights of our trip

If you’re heading to Milan (or anywhere in Italy!) definitely check out a Cesarine experience—it’s a beautiful way to slow down, connect, and get a literal taste of real Italian life.
