independently from all the controversy, ICE is an American law enforcement company that has the specific task of checking immigration and customs according to American laws. As such, they do not operate according to the ITALIAN laws for custom and immigration.
Given that, there is absolutely no legal justification, nor legal precedence, for their presence here.
The FBI? the Secret Service? unwarranted, but given their investigative and security-oriented purpose, justifiable. But a border control agency? ruling over a foreign country's border? absolutely not
IF ICE AGENTS ATTEND THE OLYMPIC GAMES IN ITALY, THE REST OF THE COUNTRIES SHOULD REFUSE TO PARTICIPATE
