During a recent visit to the Petra Winery in Tuscany’s Val de Cornia they were bottling their 2024 Petra Toscana IGT. The here yu see the bottles being cleaned, filled and corked, prior to undergoing bottle-maturation before the wine is labelled and readied for release.
I really enjoyed the wines I tasted here, they are all labelled as IGT Toscana. The range starts with the Hebo, a blend of Sangiovese with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The second wine tasted was a lively, elegant Merlot called Querceagobbe and the range is completed by a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that is simply called Petra.
