As a European, I don’t think America’s reputation was damaged in just one year. For many of us it started at 9/11, then the Iraq War, Guantanamo, mass surveillance, etc. What we see now, Americans protesting injustice in Minnesota and standing up to this administration, i think actually improved your image abroad. That’s the America people expect to see. We admire citizens who oppose wrong policies. We all hope this period ends soon, with as little suffering as possible for ordinary people.
