I do like a fancy or complicated recipe every once in a while just as much as as I like easy recipes and viral recipes. Depending on my mood, the occasion or my time I can make all kinds of things. Stick to what you are passionate about. I follow you because your recipes are unique and interesting and yummy not because I’m looking for cheap quick and easy lol.
I love to cook. It’s genuinely a major source of joy for me. And not only that, but cooking for others. That’s a big one for me. So long and complicated is great when cooking for others. They appreciate it so much. Same time, more reward out.
I love your recipes, but I think your logic is a little flawed here. We have more leisure time now than any generation before us (thanks capitalism). I love that I can watch your recipes from my phone (thanks capitalism). I would buy your cookbook. But I would rarely actually make one of your recipes, and I think that’s because they often require ingredients I don’t have easy access to, or they need a lot of ingredients. Maybe I’ll make this one day when I have a herb garden and access to fresh clams. I think your recipes are delicious, but they exude the privilege of the ingredients you have easy access to in NY. If I wanted fresh clams it would take me 6hrs just to get the clams.
I very much am DONE with quick and easy. I want something thats worth it, i actually love prep and I really enjoy cooking. Its so hard to find recipes that I find genuinely elevated and worth it

Whenever I’m looking for a new fun, yummy recipe to make, I get so many results that emphasize being cheap or easy. It gets old
Looks very good!
lol yeah cause historically people in socialist societies always enjoyed the crème de la crème. What a stupid comment to make
What happens when you work in a kitchen i cook 24/7

I love your recipes so much. They inspire me to make new dishes or take inspiration from yours

I absolutely love taking the time to make a good special long meal. Anyone who enjoys it wants to cook something not quick, at least once in a while.
