  1. My grandmother made polenta similar to how you made it. My grandfather was from Tripi and my grandmother was from Furnari Sicily. We make polenta about every 2-3 months. We really enjoyed it.

  2. Hi Mia and Massi, I always wondered how they cooked polenta , now I know . Looks like beef stew and mashed potatoes . What taste does polenta have exactly ?

  3. A lovely cosy vlog which is what I'm wanting right now…it's too hot here and I'm liking the winter vlogs! I did a cosy Cotswolds vlog today because it made me feel good! ☺A lot of my family are Romani and they would say that southern Italy is south of Napoli. They are just "Romani" SPQR! 🤩🤣 Massi delicious recipes are always a welcome end to your vlogs! Baci dear friends! 🥰🤗😘💖

  4. Happy New to you both, don’t comment often, but definitely watch and hype weekly, love the cooking, what a beautiful town you visited, Sicily is just beautiful.

  5. Depends who says it. The north. FRIULI is the land of the Polentoni. Abruzzo, in the mountain areas, is also known for polenta. I recall in some recipes it was spread out on the table with a sauce and different meats such as yours…
The north, perhaps Toscana and above it, called everyone else Terroni!!!! (Not complimentary )

  6. OMG that meal looked scrumptious Michael said he would like it in his belly now 😋 I loved the town and it always amazes how they built it back in the day. We have a lot to learn from the past. I have always put Rome in the southern part of Italy because of some of its southern cultures but it is definitely known as central Italy. I did learn that in geography many moons ago. As always we enjoy the places you take us to. Have a blessed week ragazzi. 🤗😘😍
