Still trying to figure out why you would choose buca di beppo out of all the unique and interesting restaurants Las Vegas has to choose from? You're doing a food review on prepackaged meals including the bag soup. I feel this type of video really lowers your standards. You're a top-notch food blogger with a bright future ahead of you but it's really hard to take somebody serious that goes from the Wynn and four seasons Doing sensational videos and the next week you're reviewing sysco Frozen products. You're also promoting corporate conglomerates vs a local restaurant.
I haven't been to any of the Buca di Beppoo restaurants before but work will sometime do a cater order for our office lunch and I usually like their pasta dishes. I do like their chicken parm and eggplant parm (despite I'm not much of an eggplant person). Maybe one day i'll go their off strip locations.
I tried the restaurant and swore I'd never return. Under duress, a friend who hadn't been, blackmailed me to go back. Needless to say, I don't miss the place.
I think it’s been 20+ years since I last had Buca.
Shin is the most articulate of the Vegas food reviewers. You know he knows his stuff from a culinary standpoint, but doesn't come across as snobbish about it.
What I wouldn't give to be the friend that gets to accompany Shin on all his food adventures.

Happy New Year! First off, I want to say “THANK YOU” for your review of Buca di Beppo in the Excalibur.
People will not believe me when I say it is the BEST VALUE for your money “on the strip” PERIOD! The volume of food you get for the price is UNREAL.
The “Antipasto” salad is arguably the BEST in ANY restaurant “on the strip”. Their signature Italian Dressing that accompanies the “Antipasto” is DELICIOUS!!!!!! I offer to pay extra for a Large cup of additional Italian Dressing.
You’re 100% right regarding the meatball sandwich, a solid value. You’re also correct on the minestrone soup reducing down over the course of the night.
Again, for the VALUE, you’ll be hard pressed to beat it “on the strip”.
GREAT channel! Thanks again for understanding you’re NOT going to get the Carbone experience, however, you shouldn’t be disappointed with the “value”.
Kinda looks something you'd get at spaghetti factory. I'd say most Italians would probably avoid this. At least you stayed under $300 this time. haha

another interesting video-if/when I return to Vegas if I was with a group, be nice to try that place, if I was solo, maybe not, I am a fan of pasta dishes, but I would like to go there if I was with a group of people to sample, that dessert slice you had was COLOSSAL-lol-seemed like a bigger slice than the last place you went to-a co-worker introduced me to Tiramisu and I enjoy it-thanks
HI SHIN…….I WATCH ALL YOUR VIDEOS…..BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT BUCA DI BEPPO'S SUCKS…..THAT IS NOT REAL ITALIAN FOOD….MOST OF THAT GARBAGE IS FROZEN PREPARED FOOD AND DEEP FRIED….I WENT THERE ONCE JUST TO TRY IT AND NEVER RETURNED…IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE..MY WHOLE FAMILY IS FROM ITALY….I AM A CONNOISSEUR OF ITALIAN FOOD. THIS IS NOT REAL ITALIAN FOOD. YOUR A GENTLEMAN NOT TO BAD MOUTH THE PLACE. BUT THEIR FOOD LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED….YOUR FRIEND DANNY
I ate at this restaurant several years ago and the food was not good and I wasn't happy with the service at all. I wish I had something positive to say about this place but I don't. What I do remember is that the food lacked flavor, sorry I can't remember what I ordered because it's been four years, and sadly the area the restaurant is located in is just plain old depressing and ran down just like most of the excalibur is nowadays, sorry for the rant but my memories of this restaurant is just bad even Olive Garden is better than this place, but on a positive note I have been to the peppermill multiple times and I love that place I hope you head back there again someday, anyway Shin thanks for suffering for me so I don't have to, we'll catch you on the next video
They used to have a happy hour menu for both food and drinks that was much better. Not sure if they still have it. 😊

I haven't been to Excalibur since about 15 years ago. Food looked good enough as the way you described it. Could you share what floor this is on? I don't remember this place being there, but maybe I missed it. Thanks again.
