A 🖤🍷 dark ruby core in the glass, with paler ❤️🍷 ruby reflections at the rim. The wine opens with very pretty aromas of 🍒 ripe red cherry and 🍒 cranberry, along with notes of 🍑 red plum, 🌹 crushed rose petal, and 🍂 pipe tobacco. The palate is nicely composed of 🍓 ripe primary fruit with moderate-plus weight ⚖️ and a very fine structural presence. The tannins are ripe ✨ and show great potential for integration over the next decade ⏳. On the finish, there’s a good array of primary fruit 🍓 and secondary notes like 🪵 tar, 🌿 mint, and 🍵 Earl Grey tea. Drink now–2038 🗓️🍷.
