Hopefully the Unesco heritage of humanity recognition of Italian cuisine and food culture will protect those against abominable counterfeiting and imitations that are carried out unfortunately mostly in countries like the US and Canada. Cultivating traditions is great, falsely selling Olive Garden restaurant as a maker of Italian food is a crime, from today "a crime against humanity" since humanity wishes to protect Italian cuisine.
They should put Plebiscito, Napoli and south … all is did there, also Mediterranean Dieta many secoli ago, by also doctors in Salerno .. so mach history canceled and stolen..you can see names of territory to understand
Italian food is relatively easily to cook but the ingredients have to be fresh and genuine. The food is not overpowered with too many spices or too many ingredients.

Americans have never tried real Italian food, they only know the cheap pasta and pizza which is only 3% of Italian food. The real Italian tradition is over 1000 recipes of Fish, Meat, Rice, soups, nuts, Vegetables and much more, I'm glad I grew up enjoying those timeless delicacies
