This incredible lasagna is made with paper-thin, homemade pasta “handkerchiefs” folded over a delicate three cheese filling, which is then layered with pasta sauce to create one of the best alternative versions ever. This might be my favorite cheese lasagna of all time. Enjoy!

The TASTING is always the best part. I love the ending… was just about to say, we want to see the middle… and yes, he passed the test. This looks terrific. Many never had a LASAGNA without the middle being hard. Then, it's so unconfortable to compliment the host… but this seems doable. CHEF JOHN KNOWS! First, the FAJITA CHEESBURGER though.. xx..
Now weez all hangkrin fur some hangkurchief.
4:58 STINGY FILLING 🪦
2:35 like a 1700s laundry😊
Love that pan! It's like a Dutch oven had a night of passion with a paella pan and this was their love child
instant like for chef John, I've been watching your videos for more than 10 years and definitely the best chef on youtube.
Chef John (AKA The Best of The Best) is always the best! Greetings from the JSC Mission Control in Houston TX! 😎🚀🥂🎉
Delicious and so flavourful
Man but that looks delicious 😋
Is anyone really happy with the shape and size? lol.
Link to the pasta dough video would've been nice.
Devastating ethereal beauty. 🤤 Thank you x 1000, Chef John, for keeping it simple and/but sublime.
All good chefs share and teach what they know… because they have no reason to keep it to themselves as they’re always coming up with new recipes and building off of old recipes. Cheers to this chef for being one of the good ones. ❤
Magnifico! I've always wondered if you were Italian, Chef John!! 👨🍳 Grazie mille!! ♥
How many times have I thought to my self, “how lucky am I to have found you, Chef John!” Today is no different! What a gorgeous recipe! I can’t wait to try it!
🥳🫶Nothing wrong with cheese casserole
But it‘s impossible to overdo mozzarella, no?
Basically the classic Fazoletti alla Nonna, or "Grandma's handkerchiefs". Totally worth making.
Man 3 eggs that's a lot to ask but i guess I'll try it.
Bravo!👏Chef John, that looks absolutely amazing!😋♥️🇮🇹
Looks great. The basil makes it healthy too.
Chef John, as the Chief Hankerer this yummy concoction is nothing to sneeze at. Already imagining what else to do with this with Italian, Indian, Chinese etc etc ingredients…. Thanks for expanding our Ker-choos…. Jacques Mexico
This book called Forbidden Chef Secrets surprised me how it goes deep into cooking methods I never learned on YouTube. It’s actually made cooking fun again for me.
The lasagna is really outstanding meal preparation. Looks great for couple nights in dinner.😊
'by the way i grew up saying handkerchief' 😂😂😂
looks fantastic. not sure how this is not a american cheese casserole though. so much cheese…
omygoshyum
I like Chef John's dry sense of humour. I think he might have English blood, like me. John Mitzewich, beautiful British name.
I'm not sure if that would be any good, you better send me some so I can make sure!😊 😋
I don't understand what you mean by "don't over-do it on the cheese". Literally no idea what that means 😂
Science continues to ask the question, how large a ravioli can we make?
Chef Jon, I have to ask what is the marble cooking slab, and where did you get it?
Please turn off autodubbing, watching from non english speaking automatically turns Chef Johns amazing voice into AI garbage
This looks simply AMAZING! I've saved this to my "food" playlist as I have to make this soon!
Gorgeous! Thank you Chef John 💃
This looks good but a poor name for it, handkerchief lasagna sounds like something you are going to blow your nose in, fabric lasagna would have been a much better name
I think it needs anchovies.
I need to make that!!!
Maaaan, I havent seen this channel in yeeears, I think I was like 14 when I was last on here
Im 21 now, very recently lost my father, and going through a tough time starting my second semester of aerospace engineering this very week, and the sheer amount of joy, nostalgia and comfort hearing your voice brought me was insane.
thank you, chef john!
Yeah, that’s one recipe I’d pay to have made for me. Yum!
this looks soo good 😋
Looks delicious!
Love that pan! It's like a Dutch oven had a night of passion with a paella pan and this was their love child
Hihhhh
I wanna top that pasta with like three or four cheeses and some sauce and roll it up into a giant spiral roll! 😋
Chef, I cant make a decent bolognese style meat sauce. Its too acidic, or it tastes like nothing. If i add sugar for the acid, it makes things bland, salt doesnt help. A masterclass on bolognese style ground beef sauce would be just perfect.
It’s about the name chef….
