What do families call that large cutting board in their home? I noticed all italian home cooks have this. My Canadian in laws have a version of this when they are canning / sausage making. Is there a good type of wood to use? Is it mainly for pasta making (not cutting meat)? Do you clean it in the bathtub after? How is it stored?
