@ Luciano Italian Restaurant, Oakton VA
March 2024

Late night dinner on Sunday evening.
Calzone Pulgia – Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushrooms and Mozzaralla in a nice bubbly, crackely crust
Meat Lasagna, nice sauce of sweet tomatos, ricotta and ground beef between sheets of pasta that appeared to be rolled.

Hi this is Bill inviting you to join us this episode at luchano Italian restaurant to see what I Ate wa that’s some stretchy cheese there’s there’s some meat in here and pepperoni I think um Italian sausage this is the calone P I think in this area this is easily the best Cal zone so far yeah it looks pretty meaty I was a little skeptical when you got that

Corner the corner was delicious looks like all the meat is hiding in the middle yeah I love mushrooms that was a delight Nice Happ bub the smell of mushrooms is awesome yeah it does smell really mushroomy T sort of like a fled over my you can see the Cress is really really thin that lots of nice melty Cheese Okay don’t no Tonto Oh Lasagna to me is always something that needs a spoon especially when it’s really Saucy and this one is it’s got a lot of ricotta cheese and doozy mozzarella so let’s give this a try I like every black This Is that kind of cheese that’s kind of Toome I’m really digging the crispy bits on the on the edges the ones that got kind of burnt they have a nice little charred uh aspect to them that I enjoy plus the they’re Crispy I think are we still considered is it still considered winter right now okay so it’s early spring but we’re coming out of winter and so this dish is nice because the tomato sauce is has a nice fresh pop of of you know garden fresh tomatoes probably trued over Chile or Something yeah we had just come over from a church service and this was a convenient place to stop by after church um we didn’t feel like cooking it’s kind of late on a Sunday evening so it just hit the spot before we settle for the

Evening oh that was so yummy as you can see I finished everything we went down to just one little spot’s left but I pick the to because it was light there sort of pie of light just folded Over Susan is wondering how they got the layers to be concentric it’s almost like cinnamon roll the way it’s presented really yeah I think they must have done it in a really tall pen and then got slices of it and turned it on to the side Oh
