Description: Welcome to our European vacation! It’s day four of our Western Mediterranean cruise onboard Symphony of the Seas and we’re in Pisa, Italy! We make a last minute change once we dock and decide to just take it easy in the morning. We walk around La Spezia finding our Harry Potter book. Then we book a last minute excursion that takes us to the Miracle Plaza in Pisa. We, of course, get the incredibly cheesy photos holding up the tower before heading back to the ship. Back on board in the evening, we grab a quick dinner at Windjammer before seeing the Aqua Theater show, Hiro. Good morning and welcome to day four of our European cruise on board Symphony Of The Seas our Western Mediterranean Cruise uh today we’re in Italy for the first time we’re in Los psia um which is kind of the the path to a bunch of different places like pza Florence and
The sink chair um but our Port is very industrial today described as a working Port yes and you can definitely see that they are working yeah um but oh go ahead oh so we can’t walk it so they’re making everybody to do shuttles yes it’s like a
5 minute shuttle to get to the exit and they’ve cleared us already like a half hour early so you should probably get going Yep Okay we’re in lasia um and we’ve had a major change of plans yeah you know what we hustled and bustled and got all the way to the train station and decided this isn’t worth the stress no it was going to be an an hour wait for the next train to another hour
To P then it would have been an hour to pza and then like we would have had maybe just a few hours before we would have had to turn around and and come back right um so it just didn’t seem worth it as much as like we’d love to
See the Leaning Tower and in the dormal but it just didn’t work when we when you talk about we should have booked an Excursion I’m sure there’s lots of other things in pizza but everyone always only talks about like just the the miracle Plaza yeah you know so I mean like it’ll
Be all right we’re going to take the L for today and yeah we had a lot of other stuff planned in Pizza that wasn’t right yeah there was walking tours and there was the second there was the Cathedral of the spine and all that stuff I mean
It was it was going to be fun it was going to be fun but like the the getting there and making sure we did everything by the time we needed to get back it was just a lot yeah I think when we originally we don’t know if it was an us
Mess up or an RC like chain but we thought we were docking at a different port right south of this south of this that would have been only a 20 minute train ride to Pisa and only like an hour to Florence and so that really changed our plans when we realized we
Were docking so much farther we should have just booked an Excursion that would have taken us at least tickets there you know like we’re doing with Rome tomorrow yeah um but it is what it is like it’s too late now but we’re still in laseo it’s a beautiful city in yeah we’re just
Kind of walking around we did find our found Harry Potter Harry Potter which we found it the place called uh junti aluno yeah which is this really cute little bookstore adorable bookstore come down if you’re here are obsessed with the cover artwork so we’ll insert we’ll
Insert the photo that Lauren took of the whole series well of like the first five or something but I mean this art is amazing it’s amazing I feel like this is maybe not the best one of the art that we saw I think like two and and three
Were probably the coolest maybe one two and three had the coolest artwork out of all of them but the depictions of Hogwarts and aaban so scary scary yeah I it makes it seem scarier to see it that way cuz it’s so funny because the artwork that we get
In America the Scholastic so child friendly it’s so child friendly because it’s Scholastic and especially for those first few books very kidfriendly I’m like no the Italian said no this is a prison for really evil people it looked really cool it’s also guarded by demons the whole set just because it’s
So beautiful gorgeous but we got our one we’re on five Italy is five so lisia book five it’s a a Honker it’s a huge book but this is our last Harry Potter book that we’re buying on this trip so cuz the next couple of legs are
All in the same country yeah it’s still Italy and our rule is one per country and it’s supposed to be hard cover Deon went with the one that had the dust jacket they did have one that was just bound oh that’s cool oh that’s awesome
One that was just bound um but Deon said the artwork was just a European artwork so yeah that was the direct European translation so uh this is this one was cool original to Italy at least as far as we can show yeah people watching this video are probably like no you morons
That was released in you know here but still unique artart we’ve never seen before and uh it’s going to make like really cool eclectic collection overall which is what we want it’s going to be amazing I’m so excited to see it finish and we only have two more to go yeah
It’s pretty crazy we need to plan more International trips so we can get them yeah all right um I think we’re just going to walk around head towards the direction of here um but kind of explore maybe see what other shops and stuff we can find First hello from voice Overland I’m just
Popping in uh so like I said in the last clip you know after we found our Harry Potter book we decided to just take it really easy and walk around laspia just kind of uh near the port where our ship docked uh so we walked around we loved
All the like little Alleyways and streets and just kind of doing some window shopping and checking out all the different things that they had we did stumble across a little Park kind of near the um like the pier area and we saw this really cool statue I forget the
Name of it it was just on the sign that we were looking at and I spaced reading it before showing you the clip um we also you know stumbled across the birds so we obviously had to take video of that because you know why not um but
There were also these really cool you know just kind of like Botanical areas I guess for lack of a better word like Gardner and stuff like that was really cute uh here’s Deon enjoying the streets of lasia he’s so funny um we were checking out the shops and the buildings
Just enjoying the architecture and of course you know when in Europe got to grab a pastry of some kind so I grabbed this little like croissant sort of thing with Nutella super delicious uh and then on our way back to the ship we uh were pasted by another little petite train so
If you remember our video from Marsa uh we rode one of those there and it was just really cool to see it in another spot so we came back to the ship to an early morning Gus it is a pig I think yeah I think it’s a pink yeah it’s
Pretty cute huh is very cute it’ll look nice next to the dog yeah all right to a Wind Jammer now uh we’re going to do a good lunch and we booked a tour for pza we’re going to actually go to pza yeah figured out there was one in the afternoon so we can
Still go it’s a walking guided tour of he’s up at 2:00 it’s just to the miracle Plaza yeah yeah so the Leaning Tower and the Dual mall and stuff like that it’ll be a lot of fun yeah but I got very American chicken fingers mac and cheese
Couple of french fries and there was this pasta It’s got like olives and stuff in it which I don’t like but it the rest looked okay if I just pick out the olives yeah uh and I went classic burger nice the burger look really good today it does it looks good Yeah officer required it’s funny cuz we’re in Italy right home of gelato but it’s hard to beat soft serve on the right on the cruise ship it’s hard to beat it we’re going to head back to the room now hang out for a little bit until we
Have to go downstairs for our Excursion I’m really excited about the pizza thing it’s going to be cool we’re going to get the see the tower yeah I’m excited too it’s like one of those touristy things that you have to see you got to get the photo with you pushing it up and
You just have you look like a loser but you have to do it we’re in Italy I’m pretty sure it’s illegal if you don’t right you can’t wa I don’t I don’t want to go to Italian jail uh-uh I wonder what kind of pasta they serve in Italian
Jail I don’t know but you can’t leave until you show proof that you did the photo yeah when before they stamp your exit for it like you got to show the photo man uhhuh so you know we don’t want to break any rules so we’re going to do it we’re rule followers
Um it’s the universal signal of you can talk it wasn’t just trying to get a thumbs up back from you we’re in the uh World Theater uh deck four we’re waiting with our rest of our group to uh go to panoramic Pizza yeah yeah it’s a walking tour a
Guide and of the exterior of pza yeah uh the Miracle Plaza we got a a fake ticket fake ticket and so when we got here they’re like H we don’t have a ticket for you um so we got this handwritten one and hopefully it gives us entry I’m sure
It’ll be okay it’ll be fine it says it’s a replacement which is funny because we never got the original Oneal so just a heads up like if you’re booking something less it yeah cuz we booked two hours ago yeah two or three hours ago um
So you may not get a ticket yeah well that’s okay you just show up show your confirmation and they can look it up yeah always make sure that you have go back to your uh to your schedule and itineraries and stuff make sure that it shows up in there under your
Reservations cuz that’s how you guarantee you you show your phone to someone and be like oh cool we got you which is great yeah I’m very excited for be fun yeah I think it will be fun I’m glad we’re able to go yeah I’m glad there was still something to yeah cuz we
Booked this very last minute yeah so true there’s a couple of afternoon tours there’s like six different tours happening this afternoon which is kind of cool we’re lucky that we’re in lasia for as long as we are uh cuz like any either of the uh other days we’ve been
In ports an afternoon thing wouldn’t have worked no just cuz we leave at like 5: was like 5: and 6 I think yeah and tonight we don’t leave until 8: 8:30 All Aboard is 7:45 tonight yeah and tomorrow we’re in uh chyia from like 800 to 8 as
Well it’s a long day tomorrow but that’s tomorrow right we’re here now and we’re just waiting with all of the other people it’s a lot of other people doing afternoon stuff yeah honestly I could see the appeal if you did like an afternoon Tour on one of your days
Because it’s just a lot right this is a learning opportunity for sure um because can sleep in we’ve been we we’ve been going kind of nuts the last few days and so we woke up kind of not feeling it this morning and this worked out after we had a morning to walk around
And just kind of hang out for sure great yeah I think this is kind of The Best of Both Worlds just like Miley says yeah as we often quote on this I mean honestly I do probably quote Miley a lot I say that line a lot at work and
Then I quote Taylor a ton and sometimes kids get it and sometimes they don’t and you just kind of go with it all right all right we’ll see you on the Bus guess who’s in Pizza we are so we just parked and we’re like 10 minutes away from the Tower and the Miracle Plaza and all that fun stuff when we’re walking with our tour guide yeah we’re walking with tour guide we got a big group mhm I’m excited to see what it looks
Like I got close yeah me too Ready All right so we’ve broken away from our uh our crew we did it just feels like it makes you more conspicous to be in the big Crown stickers all over you and these big mic packs so we know where we’re supposed to meet I mean hey if

Pretty there are a lot of people here lot of people lot of people we’ve been worned multiple times about pickpockets yeah basically just like go around crowds and stuff cuz apparently whe whether or not it’s true apparently they like to hide in and around the groups yeah near the things
And then they get you yeah so just being cautious trying to be careful um but it’s really cool yeah and so this is the part where you can do the push you’re holding it up so obviously I’m going to get one of those of Lauren yeah here in just one
Sec I think I see a good spot to do it actually all right let’s get one of those we it’s really funny to see every I love it so much I think that’s like the best part I love seeing everyone just with their hands up it’s like so much fun everybody’s doing it
You want to see yours to make sure you you like it yeah and it’s like it’s just so funny I love it so much like do you think like back in olden times they were doing this too probably like for how long have been people coming here as it’s like a Mecca
Of holding your arm up in the air awkwardly for like ever for no reason oh yeah kind of huh that’s really funny it’s so funny I think it’s I think it’s really funny yeah I feel like you need both hands right I think it’s so funny War’s just having a grand old time
Watching Everybody do the thing I love it so much that’s what we came here for and I just love it I love it I love it love it love it I’m obsessed I think it’s so cool like what the hell man like way bigger than was
Going to be everyone’s like oh it’s so tiny it’s just this little right people are saying that it’s like disappointing or whatever but like come on the grand baby I I love it I think this is the best thing ever a lot and it’s funny that you can see everybody like climbing
Up and around the tower yeah yeah you can go up it is and it’s like um timed so it’s really specific uh for when you when your ticket is so it’s most likely not something you can just walk up and do but um yeah you can climb up it which is
Really cool like you can see the people up there they’ve climbed all the way up which is super cool um and then you can see you can also go inside the Domo and the cathedral um I think I just hit my mic so I’m sorry you can go on both of those
Buildings as well but I’m pretty sure um again you have to pay to get in them and then you also have to um cover your shoulders and stuff like that I believe in both of those places I don’t think you do for the tower um but the other two since they’re
Religious areas you do have to um but you can still walk the perimeter of everything on the Mir exactly yeah you can walk around like this um which you know is really it’s tacky but that’s kind of what you’re here for it’s just really the exterior and we’re here for
Like 45 minutes we got like 30 minutes left so let’s go walk yeah do you want to walk like down in front of the omo uh I do yeah okay cool let’s do It this is the view as we’re leaving P leaving the the tower the miracle Plaza yeah it’s cool these arches are really cool right yeah these are amaz it’s crazy people on top yeah that’s awesome I wonder if it’s like part of one of the tickets or something you know that’s super
Cool we are back on board the ship yeah it’s about 6:30 doing one Jammer again this just the fastest yeah that we could do um so I got some spaghetti some chicken to put in my spaghetti a little bit of mac and cheese cuz it was pretty tasty and then
I made myself a little baby salad I got a little baby salad too and a little bit of steak and then to I know that’s cool that they have that hello or ciao they say in Italia um we’re going to go see Hero at the awk
Theater we are we’re on our way except I can’t open the door it’s a regular occurrence it is a regular occurrence I can never open the door the doors this door balcony door um yeah we’re going to go watch hero the aqua theater show it’s our first Aqua theater show so it’s
Really exciting I’m really pumped about it um it’ll be really interesting we saw somebody practicing during dinner when we were eating in the Wind Jammer we saw somebody up on the high tight rope um we’ve it’s like a lot later it’s like 8:30 right now we’ve been like just
Hanging out in our room pretty much sleeping just yeah I know relaxing and um decompressing after after the long day was a long day today D got trapped at the door um so it’ll be fun to do something although we’re both very tired this is kind of our last
Opportunity to see it it’s days they’re doing it tomorrow night but tomorrow night’s when we want to go see the magician it’s complicated and you have to have reservations and I’m honestly worried if we cancel the reservation tonight if then we wouldn’t have it tomorrow yeah pretty
Much we’re going tonight we’re going to make it happen um it’ll be fun yeah and I’m sure it’ll be a great show so we’ll be engaged um it’ll be a lot of fun I mean I’m I’m just excited cuz you’ve never seen seen anything like this before it’s completely different

Carousel when we got here and she’s like you should probably go look over there to see if it’s line or the the will call line cuz I would imagine yeah thank goodness yeah you went and checked and there’s two lines so it’s to the left was people without reservations and to the right
Was people with reservations and we there AE to get in yeah it was perfect and now we have this beautiful yeah I think it’s pretty cool it’s like we can see the water we can see all the stuff up there I think it’ll be good and so up
Here I’m not sure if you can see it or not right is where where Lauren pointed out earlier that he saw saw somebody yeah so they’re probably going to do some sick stunts yeah definitely I it’s pretty cool I’m really excited about it I’m still very tired
But I’m very excited to like finally see something you know in the aqua theater show so this will be cool you excited very Okay back in our room hero was pretty cool I I really liked it Deon liked it too he’s just he’s on mute yeah was great his microphone pack died um going to change batteries yes but it was it was really cool like I mean obviously we’ SED a million times the
Performers are pretty spectacular I think you know on on in all of the shows they’re just they’re good the performers are always cool was very loud though super loud it was so loud especially for it being an outdoor venue like it didn’t need to be that loud and then I also think um
Oh what was I going to say oh shoot I just lost it well too small the venue is too small for how many people wanted to be there oh I was going to say I could see why you would want to see it multiple times um because there’s so much to look at
Like I could see people wanting to see it multiple times so you could like pay attention to the upper decks paying attention to what’s happening on the bottom pay attention to like the people coming from all over the place like I could see that because there’s
Definitely a lot going on um but it was really cool um but we’re back in our room we’re going to hang out um prep a little bit for tomorrow for Rome and then just get ready for bed and go to bed like it’s 10:00 pooped we have to be
