I do that and its good i think. I eat one meal that has some protein and vegetables and one meal or snack that is not healthy and one averagely healthy meal. Although im trying to skip the unhealthy meal entirely but i always end up eating it anyways.
Actually olive oil is among the unhealthier natural oils, sunflower oil or rape oil contains more of the healthy oil than olive oil, we learned that in biology.
What I did was I just went almost completely healthy I have one cheat per day and usually the cheat isn't even that bad. Like a bowl of cereal or a hot pocket and ofc mostly only drinking water
You must stop eating throughout the day. Only eat during an 8 hour window and fast the other 16 hours.. your body isn’t meant to process food all day. That 16 hours will be the time your body does it’s processes to eliminate waste & obtain the nutrients needed for your body’s metabolism. That’s all you need to know.. thank me later
The biggest thing is finding food that fills you up that is low in calories and high in protein. Olive oil is healthy yes but it's also loaded with calories and will keep you fat if you use a lot of it.
I don’t really like this idea because it’s teaching people that “ oh for this one meal you have to suffer through it and for the other one you can eat whatever you want” and that’s the mentality I used to have when I had a binge eating disorder. I’m back to 120 pounds and all you really need to do is to be present with your meal ( less distractions ) and have meals with the fat, protein and carb food groups most of time.
Basically, It’s all balance and if you’re struggling now, better late then never.
Eliminate everything that has seed oils in it. Once you start reading ingredients you’ll realise that only leaves you with whole foods. It’s a good rule of thumb.
Eating healthy is so easy, olive oil or avocado oil. Cook your meat, boil some vegetables, boil potatoes or make rice in the rice cooker or an instant pot. thats it
I did this and now i'm up to two healthy meals a day. Also the other great advice given to me was add healthy food instead of taking away unhealthy food. So if you want a pizza, instead of depriving yourself of pizza by getting a salad instead, get a smaller pizza with healthier toppings and a side salad. If you want ice cream, get ice cream, but have a smaller portion and add fruit toppings and nuts to make up for the missing portion while adding nutrients. There's also no shame in making a salad more substantial by adding chicken, nuts, and light dressing instead of just plain vegetables. The weight loss is slower, but it's more sustainable and as someone with binge eating disorder, it has actually prevented binges. I also have a lot more energy than when i deprived myself for weight loss in the past
Hi here are some advices I use to eat healthy : • eat a variety : if you just eat salads with lettuce and tomatoes all the time it isn’t healthy at all • get rid of all the things unhealthy you have at your house • replace food you would usually eat by a healthier alternative : cornflakes —> oats smoothie from the supermarket —> smoothie homemade (without sugar) • research what you can eat to be healthy, and when, what foods they go with, etc • inclue protein and vitamin sources in each meal you eat • write down what you eat in a day • you can eat an ice cream at the end of the day if you want as long as you’ve eaten healthy before “it’s all about balance !” • eat snacks like popcorns with spices, carrots with humus, etc • Enjoyyy
You dont HAVE to do this. Turns out if you eat something low calorie and small every 2-4 hours a day and work out in between that time. You can lose weight.
