Today we are at La Rosina, a fine dining restaurant in Marostica, our hometown.
We chose this unique location to unveil the first Officina Battaglin Power+ EVO 2021.
In fact, La Rosina is deeply connected with the Italian cycling tradition
The climb that leads to the restaurant was featured in several editions of the Giro d’Italia.
At La Rosina, the customers can find a selection of local traditional dishes while enjoying some beautiful views of the verdant hills surrounding Marostica.
And we came to the restaurant’s beautiful wine cellar to talk about our latest bespoke build:
the new Power+ EVO 2021, the special Edizione Anniversario.
Stevie, the owner, reached out to us one year ago after seeing the Power+ EVO.
The 40 build slots available in 2020 were just sold out.
So, he reserved the first build slot for this year, the Power+ EVO 2021 number 1.
The Power+ EVO 2021 features a completely revamped design on the frame, with black paint fading to red cromovelato.
The integrated cockpit and the seat post come in a matching cromovelato finish.
The tapered headtube is new as well, embracing a modern look and ride feel.
But what makes this frame special is the 24k gold-plated badge brazed to the seat tube, with a commemorative logo and a real diamond in it.
All the 2021 frames will feature this golden badge created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Battaglin brand.
Stevie’s frame was designed to his measurements, and built from the Columbus HSS tubes customized to our specifications.
For the full build, Stevie opted for a Sram Red AXS 12-speed groupset and the latest release from Campagnolo, the brand new Bora Ultra WTO.
