Castelli di Iesi from Natalino, Fattoria San Lorenzo, Marche.
“Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi” is the most famous and historically
noted wine grape of Le Marche, cultivated from the 14th century. The
name Verdicchio comes from the word ‘green’ – ‘verde’ in Italian –
because its greenish skin color. This incredible expression of
Verdicchio is possible only with the particular terroir and climatic
conditions of these hills, it is an easy variety to fall immediately in
love with.
Fattoria San Lorenzo is a third generation family winery that is
completely organic and biodynamic.
TASTE: Light to medium bodied white wines with strong aromas of lemon
zest and green apple. On the mouth is very lively, bright and mineral
with hints of green fruits balanced with a high acidity characteristic
of the grape and a long dry finish.
