Very cool trip! This month I had my first Italian wines! 98 Ornellia and a 97 Castel Giocondo Frescobaldi
Great video, I'm jealous! We went to a tasting at Michele Chiarlo in 2024, picked up several of the wines you mentioned, including the 2016 Cerequio and 2019 Cannubi. After the visit we were offered 2 bottles of the 2019 Tortoniano Riserva, which were shipped to family in Italy, all at a cost of Eur100! The bargains in Italy have us going back, and you can bet we'll be having tartufi bianco.
Livio Felluga: I had in June a bottle of their Pinot Grigio. I didn't know a PG could taste THAT good !
I enjoyed the food and wine pairings, thanks for sharing them with us!
Love the hillside background, sounds like a great trip. Love the 'I don't really care about what the room thinks' philosophy.
We just got back from a long trip to Italy. We stayed in Novello for 4 days and went to some fine wineries.
