Originally built as a working barn, the historic home was thoughtfully transformed while preserving its authentic stone architecture, original character, and centuries-old charm.
After purchasing the property following a spontaneous trip to Italy, Meg and her husband spent a full year living in the home before making design decisions, allowing each room to evolve naturally over time. The result is a layered, inviting retreat filled with collected antiques, timeless interiors, and breathtaking views of the Umbrian countryside.
From the rustic kitchen and cozy living spaces to the gardens, terraces, and olive-filled landscape, this tour celebrates slow living, thoughtful design, and the enduring beauty of Italian country homes.

Lovely but I do not recommend mirrors on porches. I had one on a porch and a nuthatch bird hit it thinking he saw a flight path and was killed. The mirror came down immediately and I cried. For the same reason mirrors are not good in gardens.
