How to Spend 3 Days in Valle d’Itria: Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo, and Martina Franca

The Valle d’Itria in Puglia might just be the most underrated wine region in southern Italy, and we’re here to change that.

We based ourselves in Martina Franca and spent several days exploring the best towns in Puglia: Alberobello and its famous trulli, the hilltop wine town of Locorotondo, and Ostuni, the stunning white city perched above the valley.

Along the way, we did a Puglia wine tasting with grapes you’ve probably never heard of, made burrata from scratch, and got lost in the best way.
