I love this salad Tammy. It’s so good. ❤Love ya!
Water cake or Watergate?
It's Ambrosia, a whip cream & pudding salad. Definitely not cake.
It uses instant pudding. Those are marching cherries.
Watergate or water cake?
I remember when this salad first came out. Everyone was making it
Hi Tammy! Sweet dessert everyone loves it.
I don't put salt or marshmallows in mine.
Thank you Tammy
This looks very delicious 😋…YUMS!!!…🦋
I remember 'hearing' about this salad like 2 times in my life… I thought it was a myth…! (So pleased im not crazy)
I remember how popular this was and also the Watergate Cake. I used to make them all the time but haven't for years. Both were really good ! Good to see and older recipe. Love Ms. Tammy's video's.
Hey Tammy – my dear mom had a Fenton dish like that but it was pink! Nice memories of both the disk and the salad!❤
Tammy that is my favorite summer salad I'm a diabetic and I can eat that and it doesn't really bother my sugars too much I really enjoyed and I fix it just like you did I love it I got it from your recipe book sometime back you were really good at coming up with wonderful recipes and I really enjoy watching you everyday you have become a part of our family you and Chris and your two lovely daughters May God bless you and keep you all safe❤ PS I'm still waiting on my cookbook lol
I make my mom’s Smorgasbord recipe. Lime jello, crushed pineapple, whipping cream on a graham cracker lined dish, let it set up and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs. Let it set completely in the fridge. Or you can use a red jello and fruit cocktail. So yummy
My maternal grandmother used to make a simplified version of this. I believe that it was the instant pistachio pudding mix prepared per package instructions, crushed pineapple, Cool Whip, and mini marshmallows. It was always so good and I've been wanting to make it, especially with summer temperatures rising. Thanks for this fancier version of a beloved treat! ❤
