I Opened an Italian Restaurant in the Middle of Nowhere

I built an Italian restaurant in one of the most remote parts of America.
Not just for the fun of it.
Not just because I love red sauce joints.
I did it because the old-school Italian American restaurants I grew up loving and visiting for special dinners are fading away. And so is something bigger. Dinnertime itself.

So my friend Joe and I headed deep into the Utah backcountry with a truck purpose built for this project. We wanted to open the most remote Italian red sauce joint in America as a metaphor for these vanishing restaurants and rituals.

This video is a tribute to the generations that came before us, the culture they built, and the simple joy of sitting down to eat together.

Because it was never just about red sauce. It was always about dinnertime.
