yup, the basha family use to own it but they sold it to a holdings company. haven't been in years since i live in vegas but when i was running the kitchen at lons in scottsdale i use to go there allot

Americas Test Kitchen did a test on garlic and found the frozen and pre-peeled garlic to be the best alternative to fresh garlic. Jarlic is horrible.

i love how everyone else is discovering costo, figuring out their lanes etc but you, you air are running around like its your house. 🤣 (in a way i guess it is your second home given that you are a chef)
AJ's Fine Foods was an off-shoot of AJ Bayless Grocery established in the 1930's in greater Phoenix. The Bayless grocery stores were sold to Safeway in the mid 1980's. But the brand lived on through AJ Fine Foods, which was a smaller footprint version of the AJ Bayless Grocery that offered curated and higher quality brands and goods. They often featured small batch and homegrown items.

Oh u miss central market sooo much. I kive in east texas. All we have are brookshires, super and neighborhood Walmart, super one, a few Aldi.
