Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon | A Perfect Relaxing Waterpark Day | Eating at Olive Garden | $25 Lounge Fly

In today’s video we’re at our absolute favourite water park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon!

This was such a perfect day. The weather was gorgeous, we found a lovely spot to sit in, and we managed to do so many slides & attractions, but crucially also relax.

We explore all the areas of the park and have a look at some of the food options, as well as the refillable soft drink cup.

After a quick freshen to we head to Oliver Garden for a delicious meal, this is always the foody highlight of our trip. We the head to the Premium Outlets at the top of International Drive for a quick browse, whete Katie snags a Lounge Fly bag for $25!

going to have for breakfast I sprinkles
in Florida and on holiday you can have
donuts for breakfast can’t you y Yay
good morning everyone today so this is
what day six seven track today we’re
going to Typhoon Lagoon today we are so
we’re stopping via Duncan something a
bit different for breakfast something
quick so we can head over and start
splashing around so plan is dunking
breakfast and then Typhoon Lagoon for
the day cuz the weather’s beautiful
today so we’re definitely going this
time so let’s head inside thank you so
much thank
you so they got the order screens
dun just give you an idea of some of the
breakfast stuff we got signature
sandwiches and you got some snacks and
sides you can order everything up here
so we’ve gone a bit mad Donuts breakfast
bits drinks a lot still not too
bad break coast of Kings very happy boy
a strawberry sprinkles
donut I can’t get much better than
this wow at all this yummy at our Dunkin
Feast so we’ve got our hash browns
Kate’s got a bacon and avocado on toast
y got a breakfast andanada
chicken and pepper wrap type
thing some strawberry filled donuts
donuts haven’t you oliv is eating more
Donuts now he’s eating Daddy’s Bost and
cream Daddy’s going to be greedy of too
but oliv is now being greeding of in two
aren’t

yeah something a bit different
delish my goodness M I’m going to give a
10 out of 10 for this chicken and pepper
wrap thing it’s absolutely delicious 10

yeah here we are at Typhoon
Lagoon and it opens in 20 minutes and
there can’t be any more than 40 cars
maybe we’re on the front row

boy I’m not going to take any arguments
over this but Typhoon Lagoon is the
better of the two water
parks Blizzard Beach just feels too cold
all the snow and stuff this is beautiful
Caribbean holiday Daddy yeah there no
buses coming There’s No Buses yet is
there’s one bus just come oh there’s a
bus
coming so typhoon Lagoon’s included in
your magic ticket 14-day ticket it
doesn’t count towards your par days so
you can come I think it’s 14 times to
water parks and 14 times to the fiend
Parks so if you come to Typhoon Lagoon
you’re not going to lose a day in the FI
Parks just FYI
here’s the main entrance Plaza for
Typhoon Lagoon so you’ve got a bit of a
gift shop got a bit of beach Bo to get
you in the oh yeah loads of like
relaxing holiday Tunes here you got uh
lockers showers changing room over there
men and
women and there’s a little bar high and
dry mini
Donuts skeggy type Donuts which are
amazing and you’ve got your usual
uh drinks popcorn and they do refillable
mugs here as well so we’ve brought Ours
from the last visit and well worth it so
it’s
$12.99 to buy the mug and you can refill
it all day and then it’s just cheaper to
uh recharge it when you come back
again so because we’re get sort of rope
dropping typ in Lagoon you get sort of
held here Daddy so top tier don’t just
stand in this section turn left and you
can walk down the path here Daddy and
this will take you Daddy past the
lifeguard station yes Oliver we’ been
here last week we have been here last
week we’ve been here before haven’t we
we came here last holiday we came here
last holiday and had a lovely
time so we’re going to go our little
secret way and show people at home where
our favorite spot is where we come every
single time so if you come around the
the path
here so you passing the the big wave
pool in the boat and you’re heading
towards the restaurant to leaning Palms
dining need
get and then there’s a little Bridge
here anybody so what is like five people
stood
there because people stand at that first
bridge and then they speed walk all the
way across the path just to get to this
point so you might as well just walk
around and wait with very few people
people and you’ve already got a head
start everyone if you’ve got a spot in
mind wait the so top tip there and the
refillable mug locations all over the
park as
well and they’ve got little chips inside
they have to recharge so you can’t just
put any Cup on it and be cheeky you’ve
got to have one of the mugs and CU it
recognizes when it’s on the on the uh
mug refill station and let’s you fill it
up just before park opens I thought I’d
charge up on more
so it was
$95 for all day drinks
here the best place we found to do it is
just at the entrance kiosk here with the
popcorn and uh other cups so we just do
it on the way in but Road dropping Ty
Lagoon it never seems to be that busy
every time we’ve come there’s not tons
and tons of people uh opening time so
you should be absolutely fine for
getting lounges and chairs and a spot
you want so I won’t worry too much about
arriving necessarily the cocodor unless
you’re making a full day of
it all right they just lowered the ropes
and we’re in and just a top tip when you
asked when you asked not to run don’t
Sprint like this man just did we Lally
the second family back and he’s still
sprinting around the corner like
someone’s going to overtake him so uh
just follow
instructions there’s not many seats look
is it it’s going to struggle for a seat
people go berserk just relax it’s meant
to be a relaxing part you don’t have to
be in Mission planning mode every moment
you vacation just
chill we always head to a a similar area
which is the little kitty section yeah
past K ketcher Kitty
Creek up past low tide
l so if you’re in this sort of area
you’ve got an entrance to the LA River
you’ve got two of the water slides and
the family
raft you’ve got see cetri Kitty over
there you’re a very short walk from the
um wave pool as well you’ve got drinks
refill
station toilets and toilets as
well and you got yeah low tide L you got
a snap bar as
well and it’s on Sand so this area
around here we think is perfect and
there’s some umbrellas as well which
aren’t
everywhere so we are always in this this
spot as well
so we’re settled on here this time daddy
daddy
yeah we’re going to play in the sand in
a minute Daddy’s going to come join you
Daddy and we’re right in front of the
massive wave

call there some serious power in those
waves when you stood in them it can be
quite deceiving to stood up here looking
but honestly when you’re in there
so just got to be careful with little
ones if you want to see them again make
sure you’re holding the hand well they
do a little live Fest here as well for
kids so if you’re concerned about the
Lazy River any of the pools and this
pool and stuff you can get live jackets
to put on them and they’re dotted all
around the par so you just grab them at
the end of the day stick them back on
the um the
stand there loads of lifeguards as
well I have SE in the past the the
proper attentive even if you’re messing
about in the pool and they think
anything’s happening they jump in and so
they really look after you
here Oliver and Daddy are digging for
Treasure aren’t you
yeah can we find any such a lovely
Beach Sun’s beautiful sun’s so nice to
play
with right have we found the treasure

yet we made it to catch CH Kitty
Creek all creamed up we’re all Sun safe
and ready armbands
on so this area is ideal for toddlers
and little kids just like tiny slides
really really shallow
water perfect for
Oliver and nice some chill just to
follow him around as well there’s not
too much Peril and danger in this bit

in the par but we’re enjoying

1 really wiped me
out oh goodness me oh this area is
perfect for
kids you’ve just got so many
slides it’s lovely definitely head over
to ketcher Kitty Creek in the corner and
where we SATs nearby as well so it’s a
good spot to come and sit if you got
little ones and you got the lazy river
right next to it which goes in a circle
around the whole water
par right we’re going to go on the tube

boy so we’re just about to heading to
the wave pool but the side there’s
a nice little slide it’s good for kids
you can come out quite fast so I’d say
rather than prioritize putting them in
it at the top cuz the lifeu sometimes
helps prioritize catching them at the
bottom cuz it’s very
quick let’s go get him
can get quite deep quite quickly in this
pool just want to be careful of it’s
about 1

boy just got to be careful of the
currents as well for little people like
Oliver you can get rushed off your
washed off your feet can’t you yeah
Daddy’s a big Hefty lad so I’m not
getting washed off my feet
but little bit more he’s

again here’s a big wave coming oh my
goodness it’s so big you got to be so
careful with little ones ready
so you get the big waves every couple of
minutes for a certain amount of time and
then it stops then when you hear the big
claxon from the ship the big ship’s horn
that means sort of the cycle of waves is
going to start and there’s also you get
the big large waves that come and then
they also just have a bit of a wavy bit
if that makes sense which just sort of
constant ripples like large ripples but
the main event is going to be the
massive tidal wave tsunami thing
so uh it’s incremental in depth so it’s
about up to my waist
here to one of her
shoulders but then gradually gets deeper
and deeper as you go along I won’t
recommend swimming too far
out here we go

so we’re going to head over to the
family ref ride yeah yay so what we’ve
been doing it’s only been me and Oliver
mommy’s
relaxing so mommy’s getting a much
needed rest whoa so Daddy’s entertaining
Oliver for a bit doing everything and
Mommy’s chilling
so just showing you the front of the par
now how crowed it can be and how very
little shade you get if you just sort of
settle for arriving and sitting at the
front so I definitely recommend going
left or right and just going round into
the shade where there’s some well
there’s more umbrellas you less tightly
packed so me and Oliver are going to do
a ride now on that you have to keep your
adventure fores she’ll go inside
then so this is like a
family raft ride so it’s got Rapids
gushing shoots and stuff like that I
think you go through a tube and it’s one
that’s got a little story to it as well
when you go up that little slope there
to the
top I think they used to be maybe an
animatronic or something in that little
area it’s really cool this
one and you will definitely get very wet
as you’d expect

so just come off this it’s called
misadventure fors I’m not sure what I
said when we were first getting on but
you can’t have your phone out on this so
I wasn’t getting able to get any footage
but that’s amazing so it’s parties of 3
to five I think it is so you can’t go
one as a two they’ll pay you with
somebody else look at
that really

good next door to miss Adventure fors
you’ve got the crush and gush uh Crush
gusher uh so it’s like a water coaster
so he’s sit in a raft or a little uh
inflatable and those sections in the
middle there with a net in you whizzed
through so it’s like Jets and it fires
you along so it is like a water
coaster so Oliver is too short for this
one it’s 122 cm is the heart requirement
so little kids are not going to be able
to go on this and probably for good
reason you see how fast it Wasing past
but what you can do is
Chill play Let’s Play We got to stay on
this side haven’t we yeah with the boys
I bet we get to off for

that we got to off for that do not touch
the rope
je so another great feature of Typhoon
Lagoon as well is if you need some Child
free time they have these child cages
dotted around the PK so you just pop
your child in the cell you can go do
what you want just
kidding I’m guessing it’s meant to be a
shark diving cage help me help but it
could double up as a child jail let me
out get me
out so over to the right side of the
park if you look in towards the boat
there’s a few food places hello hello
typhoon
Tilles it’s just ice screens on the
right do whips then you’ve got uh few
options at the actual main restaurant
bit it’s like fish and chips looks like
hand battered fish and crispy chicken
bre
chips shrimp
boil fish kids
meals you got some more restrooms
changing and you got uh another food
option that
way but we tend to always eat at uh
the Leaning
Palms I want to go in this
I more slides as well up the mountain
trail you’ve got honga
cabonga now these are proper speed slide
I need a we you need a Wei that’s fine
we’ll go to the toilet then thank you
for saying watch this rip your costume
off these Goodness Me splitting
two and there’s a bit of a mountain
trail as well if you look to the left of
the slides steps really nice little
beautiful trk up the up the hill close
to the boat and there’s like a rope
bridge that you can go across let me
go here’s a bit of shot of the Lazy
River this goes around the
whole perimeter of the water pot that
where we going that’s not yours no we’re
not going on this one just yet we’ll try
and go on this one with

Mommy and you think you’re going to stay
dry the whole way if you’re in the ring
but you got to be careful cuz there’s
bits where water trickles down on you
all this sprayers so it’s not entirely
lazy CU you have to be on your guard for
waterfalls and stuff but it’s really
beautiful nice and
chilled so near to where we’re sat
you’ve got Gangplank Falls as well which
another family ride we’re going to go up
and have a look shall we Oliver let’s go
these
stairs so this is the family rough
ride it’s about 10minute Queue at the
minute told and the only to this you
have to roll your raft up so get ready
for that they’re not exactly light but
people manage
it just also spotted two of slides as
well we’re up for this so you’ve got
Mayday Falls and Keyhole Falls I think
it is I can
see so little bit uh too small out of us
for those so we’re just going to stick
with our family Rock

go right well we’re done at Typhoon
Lagoon now so it’s 20 to 4 but we’re not
going to stay till close we’re going to
get out a little bit earlier and grab
some Olive Garden so we’re going to
swing by the apartment just to freshen
up and then head over to Olive Garden on
I drive for a meal that we’ve been
looking forward to since the moment we
arrived we love it all
Garden going to get the tour of Italy I
already know
it and then we might do a bit of
shopping
after bath and body got a sale off bath
and body work sale ktie has been getting
the regular email updates and apparently
there’s a 3E handle for9
13.95 some of those I to bring back yeah
got to stock up we’re running out
probably only got about 20 left
and always a must grab the three wi
candles at Bath and
Body it’s had a lovely day here this is
just like paradise it’s like
home love it to tyho Lagoon and we
dropped a video call to my mom and dad
as
well so we’re checking in with them they
were all right it’s good to see them
going to take us off now to get back and
oliv is insisting on pushing the push
chair see how many people they can kill
on the way out hopefully none but we’ll
see we’ve had a quick freshing up back
to the room and now we’re off to Olive
Garden cuz we’re getting a bit hungry
aren’t we oh
super and what oliv are going to
have
fasta Daddy’s going to have what you
normally
of Italy three dishes in one
see you join us at Olive Garden this is
one of our favorites I I keep saying
that about every place at every
restaurant everything especially Olive
yeah especially Olive Gard look at this
beauty we’ve checked on the website you
can check the wait time look at those
Ben apparently there’s no wait time for
party three that’s a tip but it’s 5 so
won’t be too busy I think at this pointz
next to you oh no the wizard lizard
there wa bask in the
sun let show you how nice is inside this
Olive
Garden there’s quite a few around
Orlando but this
is one of the best they at the inside
service it’s always good here so we
requested a
booth and the man said he’s going to get
us the biggest one
so now we’re seated a quick overview of
the
menu appetizers calamari meatballs
parmesan stuffed CT FR loads of loads of
stuff so you imagine allive cordinates
all
Italian some amazing stuff homemade
soups and salads so with uh most Entre
or all Entre you get a never- ending uh
first course of soup or salad and bread
sticks which will show you what my God
the bread sticks yes please uh chicken
Pana lasagna cheese ravioli spaghetti
meatballs tast you can think of and then
this is my absolute favorite the tour of
Italy this is on the front page here so
you get a
lasagna you get chicken parmesana and
then you get H fetuccini
Alfredo you can create your own past as
well 1449 picking your pastor source and
Topping
uh and then they have sort of weekday
lunch offers as well um you can just get
as a meal they never Runing soup salads
and bread
sticks and then some amazing desserts as
well be today so for the kides you get
the book of fun these little crazy
characters so let’s have a quick look
inside so yeah activities
foodwise so you can create your pasta
just like the main menu picking your
pasta sauce and Topping mac and cheese
pepperoni pizza chicken strips cheese
aroli and cheese pizza and you pick a
side and then we’ve ordered ol of a
little Frozen smoothie strawberry once
he’s been very good boy today at Ty
Lagoon so $6.99 for kids
menu First St bread sticks oh five not
even for 5 minutes sat down bread sticks
in the drinks of

quiet to be fair so best time to come I
think well our Serv
Ryan and he prober looking after us but
yeah lat are five not too busy at all
very quick service e it quickly look at
these bread sticks so they’re never
ended as well so if for whatever reason
you just can’t stop eating it cuz you’ve
got room in your tummy they’ll keep
coming but they roasting hot fresly made
and
delicious now we been in the salad all
for me it’s the same size as my
head it’s so fresh and delicious and
I’ve just had some cheese added onto it
as well but this whole portion is just
for me and then Tom’s
got chicken and Yi soup Y at that smells
amazing comes with main meals yeah every
Entre you got the bread stick soup hot
garlicky bread sticks
amazing right
mine no it’s not is that an adult
portion no that’s Oliver’s portion for
children absolutely
wow
lasagna had an extra portion of bread
sticks eight or four four wasn’t enough
and then tour of
Italy goodness me I’m going to be going
in the cargo hold on the way home I
think stra me down boys I’m a bigan
that Olive Garden meal was
Unreal I’m going to give it a full 10
out of 10
your so I server Ryan it just fantastic
like we were in and out so quickly as
well food was really quick um food was
delicious great setting in there so yeah
we love it I’ve got to do some steps to
burn it off now got to do a m Mega
amount of steps of like five bread
sticks myself you turn into a bread
stick so I think to try and offset that
a bit we’re heading out to the Premium
Outlets one of our other favorite
activities browsing the shops well
certainly Katie’s favorite
activity so we got around a few Bargains
got a coupon for Bath and Body Works of
candles which we love um and then just
see what else we can find so is going to
chill out hopefully and just watch his
tablet for a bit whil we browse
so there’s two of these prum Outlets one
the top end of International Drive and
then one off the I4 near the big Mary
Queen of the Universe Church which I
think most people see when they’re
driving on the
I4 so for we like coming to this one
just because the Bathroom Body Works cuz
there isn’t one at the other
one and you got a nice Kate Spade shot

Spade but number one St stop always is
from
M so like most things that we love in
Florida it’s slowly making its way to
the UK including Bath and Body Works
they’ve got one at um Trafford Center
and Meadow Hall but you’re getting a lot
of the same fragrances but the price is
like tripling quadrupling some cases um
no offers as well that we’ve seen
whenever we’ve been you get the odd sort
of reduced hand soap but nothing like
the deals on the C which is the main
event for us um other things like
Cinnabon got one in Derby now which we
love uh dunking donuts Wendy’s so all
these things that we’ve loved over the
years coming to Florida for and making
the way to the UK but he s well are we
going to keep coming to Florida but of
course we are but it’s just nice have
those special things over in the UK so
on the lookout for candles I think some
of these like new
fragrances and hopefully chills out in
his push chair so we can have a good old
browse Orin and bath and body I think
we’re going to do the main shot when
another vou comes out so we just popped
into the night store soz I’m after some
running shoes but so I’m not spotted any
I like to the right price tells me
there’s a clearance store at uh a night
Clearance Store at the Loop so I’m going
to check that out and also there’s a a
running shop at Disney Springs that does
gate analysis so might hold out for that
as well so just browsing just having a
look getting some
ideas our last stop is going to be
Disney character
Warehouse see if we can grab any Disney
Bargains Oliver is excited for this one
it’s very
busy oh it’s ears oh no oh you put your
ears at the front oh
okay okay we’ve just come out the Disney
Shop with a couple of Bargains so
bargain number one let’s show Oliver wow
Oliver’s picked that up for
$12 radio controlled safari truck so
he’s pleased his punch then I think
bargain of the the whole day is going to
be this Lounge fly bag Minnie Mouse how
much was it
$24.99 absolute bargain how much you pay
for them been about $75 something like
that they got loads of them in as well
so get yourself open to fre them out
yeah they got a Mandalorian Lounge 5 $25
as well so
good Bargains to be had and now and I
think securing those two Bargains is
going to wrap up our day and this video
so we’re going to head back to the
apartment get this tired boy to sleep
and get this tired mommy and daddy to
sleep as well so uh thank you so much

we’re going to head to Magic Kingdom
again tomorrow maybe a Denny’s breakfast
